The Zebra LI4278 1D Scanner is built to provide reliable cordless barcode scanning for demanding business environments. Using Bluetooth® 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR), the scanner offers secure wireless communication with a range of up to 330 feet (100 m), giving users the freedom to scan items both inside and outside the workspace without being restricted by cables.
Designed to read virtually any 1D barcode, the LI4278 captures barcodes printed on paper labels as well as those displayed on mobile phones, tablets, and computer screens. Its superior scanning engine delivers a working range from near contact to over 30 inches on standard UPC barcodes, while excellent motion and angular tolerance help reduce rescans and improve productivity. The built-in rechargeable battery supports up to 57,000 scans per charge for dependable all-day operation.
Engineered for everyday use, the LI4278 features an IP53-rated sealed housing and survives repeated drops to concrete, making it well suited for retail checkout, inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and manufacturing environments. Backward compatibility with existing LS4278 and DS6878 cradles also provides a cost-effective upgrade path for organizations expanding their barcode scanning capabilities
