The HID multiCLASS SE RPK40 Contactless Smart Card Reader is part of HID Global's iCLASS SE platform, delivering an adaptable solution for organizations requiring enhanced security and support for multiple credential technologies. Supporting a broad range of 13.56 MHz high-frequency and 125 kHz low-frequency credential technologies, the HID multiCLASS SE RPK40 is compatible with Seos®, iCLASS SE®, iCLASS®, MIFARE® Classic, and MIFARE DESFire® EV1 technologies. The reader also supports HID Mobile Access, enabling secure authentication through smartphones, wearables, and other compatible mobile devices. HID's Secure Identity Object (SIO®) technology provides an additional layer of encryption to protect identity data, while Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) enables secure bidirectional communication between the reader and access control controller.
