The HID iCLASS SE R95 Contactless Smart Card Reader is part of the HID iCLASS SE platform, providing an adaptable and interoperable solution for modern access control systems. Designed with a small footprint for door applications, the R95 supports a wide range of credential technologies and form factors, including contactless cards, key fobs, and mobile devices, allowing organizations to deploy a flexible security solution that can evolve with changing needs.
Built with HID’s Secure Identity Object (SIO) data model, the iCLASS SE R95 provides an additional layer of encryption to help protect identity data and improve credential security. The reader supports advanced credential technologies including Seos, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2, iCLASS SE, and iCLASS, while also supporting HID Mobile Access to enable secure mobile credentials on smartphones, wearables, and other smart devices. Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) support allows secure, bi-directional communication between the reader and access control controller.
