The HID ProxPro with Keypad 5355 Wall Switch Keypad Proximity Reader delivers secure and flexible access control by combining 125 kHz proximity technology with integrated keypad functionality. Designed for applications requiring medium-range read performance and additional user verification, the reader supports both card and PIN authentication to provide an enhanced level of security.
Built with a weatherproof enclosure, the ProxPro with Keypad 5355 is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations and can be mounted in a variety of environments. It supports Wiegand, Serial (RS-232/RS-422), and Clock-and-Data interfaces, allowing integration with a wide range of access control systems. An optional glass mounting kit provides additional installation flexibility for applications requiring behind-glass mounting.
The integrated keypad allows keypad data and card data to be transmitted using the same cable or through separate wiring configurations using 2 of 7 or 3 x 4 matrix formats. The reader features a multicolor LED and beeper with internal or host control options, as well as a beeper off switch for silent operation.
