The HID ProxPro 5355 Wall Switch Proximity Reader combines dependable 125 kHz proximity technology with a rugged, architecturally attractive design suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Designed for applications requiring extended read range performance, the ProxPro reader provides consistent credential authentication in a single, easy-to-install package.
Supporting HID proximity credentials, the ProxPro 5355 offers flexible integration options with Wiegand, Serial (RS-232/RS-422), or Clock-and-Data interfaces, allowing compatibility with a wide range of access control systems. Its sealed enclosure protects the electronics for reliable operation in outdoor environments, while an optional glass mounting kit allows installation behind glass surfaces for additional flexibility.
The HID ProxPro 5355 includes a multicolor LED and beeper that can be controlled internally or through the host system, along with a beeper off switch for silent operation when needed.
