HID 125 kHz Proximity EntryProx Stand-Alone Proximity Reader
The HID EntryProx Stand-Alone Proximity Reader is a versatile single-door access control solution designed for unique installations, remote locations, and small access control applications. Compatible with all HID 125 kHz proximity cards and key tags, EntryProx combines a proximity reader and keypad in one weather- and vandal-resistant unit. The detachable antenna module allows the reader to be installed up to 10 feet away from the control unit, providing additional flexibility for challenging installation environments.
Featuring an ADA-compliant 12-position keypad with large white-on-black numbers, the HID EntryProx allows users to enter PIN codes or administrators to easily program the unit. Optional audio feedback and a raised dot on the 5 key improve usability, while the invalid PIN lockout feature helps prevent unauthorized access attempts. The reader can also be configured for Wiegand output mode, allowing it to connect with OEM controllers and operate as part of an online access control system.
The HID EntryProx simplifies credential management with advanced programming features, including the ability to batch load up to 2,000 HID cards or key tags using a single keypad command sequence. The Block Delete feature allows administrators to efficiently remove groups of credentials by user location, making badge management faster and easier. Ideal for small businesses, remote facilities, gates, and standalone entry points, EntryProx delivers reliable proximity access control without requiring a full access control infrastructure.
